Fanie de Lange were a long time breeder and active member at SAHBA from 2021 to 2023 when he formally retired from breeding hedgehogs. By just scrolling through pedigrees will surely give anyone an indication on just how big his impact was on the breeders community.

Elize Strydom retired from breeding in 2024 to attend to personal matters. Elize were an active member of SAHBA from 2021 to 2024. Elize`s legacy will also remain forever in our lineages. Thank you for being part of our journey.

Elize Campher retired in 2024 from breeding, but she won`t dissapear from the breeding community. She remains actively involved with SAHBA as committee board member and training coordinator for the courses presented by SAHBA. Elize will conduct her passion towards the hedgehog community in a different fashion.
